- Text messaging has been vastly enhanced. A complete message history is now available at View > Text Messages. Notifications are specific to each user, so you see what you haven't personally read, even if others have. Party information is displayed for each message, when available. And texting now provides an additional Resources tab, where you can send general messages to your employees, or even to parties outside the organization, whether they're scheduled or not.
- The front page now includes a job calendar. The moment you open ControlBoard®, your month's schedule is there at a glance.
- Daily metrics are now available on all of the schedule screens. Simply open the filters, choose your preferred metrics under Interval Metrics, and apply. Now you can see a summary of utilization, scheduled count, and much more, day by day.
- The lists on the left of the schedule screens have been simplified. At the top they are divided into categories — labor, equipment, plan, crew, etc. — for quicker and easier navigation.
- The scheduled filter has been enhanced to include filtering for conflicts as well.
- Jobs now track contract value as well as total cost. Either or both can be imported from your accounting or estimating software.
- Import messages (Admin > Import) now tell you exactly which items have been added or updated, in addition to the summary.

Your company's performance is now easily accessible, in summary or in detail, with comprehensive metrics reports (View > Metrics). Look at scheduled and available resources, or utilization percentages. View summaries, or detailed breakdowns, or both, by job, resource type, and many others. View any time range, past or future, by day, by week, or by month. Now you don't have to guess how you're doing. You'll know.

You've probably already noticed the yellow triangle icons, denoting that a job or resource has ended or is about to end. It has been enhanced to display if an employee's licenses or union memberships are expiring. Rolling over the icon displays the details.

The job timeline (Plan > Job Timeline) now optionally displays job activities. Open the filters and check or uncheck Show Job Activities to turn it on or off.
-
Time entries can now track subcontractor and equipment time, and resource quantities and ticket numbers can be attached to an entry, to model picking up material or other resources from one or multiple suppliers.
-
The new support site is where you can find answers to your questions, watch demonstration videos, post bug reports and feature requests, and talk to ControlBoard® developers directly. Choose Help from the main menu will take you there.

Group Texting Scheduled Resources@JOHN-R0 Apologies for the late reply, our notifications were bollixed and this is the first I've seen your message. The answer is, employee phone numbers have to be labeled "cell" or "mobile" (capitalization is ignored) to show up on the text message screen. This is to avoid sending to landlines and getting undelivered messages.

How To Resolve ConflictsIn this video, I will show you how to resolve conflicts in the Control Board. Conflicts occur when a resource is scheduled for multiple jobs at the same time. I will demonstrate how to allocate resources to different crews, adjust labor hours, and resolve conflicts using the conflict resolver icon. By the end of the video, you will know how to ensure efficient scheduling and avoid overlapping time slots. No action is required from you, but I encourage you to watch the video to learn these valuable techniques.
